The Weinhold Legal team successfully represented the founders and 100% owners of the e-shop Libristo Media in its sale to the Albatros Media group. Libristo Media operates online bookstores across Europe. Originally starting out as a Czech-only online bookstore, it has grown to serve more than 2 million customers in 25 European Union countries each year. Libristo focuses on the sale of foreign literature and with its unprecedented range of nearly 22 million books in more than 150 languages, it is the online bookstore with the widest range of books in Europe. The move gives Albatros Media Group, a leading player in the book publishing and sales market in the Czech Republic and Central Europe, a strong position in foreign language literature and online sales.
