What changes await us in posting workers to the Czech Republic from 1 July?

The amendment to the Employment Act, approved at the beginning of December 2023, introduces several important innovations in the field of employment. This article focuses on the posting of workers and summarises the key changes brought about by the amendment.

A few practical remarks on agreements on work carried out outside proper employment

Agreements on work outside the employment relationship are popular in the Czech legal environment both among employers and among employees. However, a recent amendment to the Labor Code has brought a number of changes to the cooperation with workers under such agreements which employers ought to adequately reflect.

CTP completes the largest photovoltaic rooftop project in the Czech Republic at CTPark Bor in Plzeň

CTP, Europe’s largest listed developer, owner, and manager of industrial and logistics properties by gross lettable area (GLA), has completed the construction of the largest photovoltaic project in the Czech Republic to date. CTP has by installed two photovoltaic power plants with a total capacity of 8.1 MWp on 115,000 sqm of rooftops in one of Europe’s most successful business parks, CTPark Bor in the Pilsen region. This project has been funded through CTP’s CZK 230 million investment to support the energy transition to net zero in the Czech Republic.

100% of the retail units of the new Roztyly Plaza office building leased

Health services are provided by a pharmacy located next to the main entrance and a modern fitness centre covering almost 1,200 m². Financial well-being is catered to by a financial consultancy centre.

SILON s.r.o. is a major company in the field of compounding founded in 1950 and operates two production plants in the Czech Republic and the USA. The acquired company PESL spol. s r.o. with a 30-year history is transferred to the SILON Group with all assets including employees and technology. The company will now operate under the name SILON CZ Recycling s.r.o. and will continue to provide recycling services to customers.
